Student and Parent Square Dance- Keep the date open in Feb!

Student-Parent Square Dance is set for Thursday, Feb. 23rd. This counts as a project for the 2nd marking period for grades 3rd-6th.

Lakeway Elementary School joined an elite list ...

Lakeway Elementary School joined an elite list of eleven schools in the state of New Hampshire who are no longer identified as Schools in Need of Improvement (SINI) based on preliminary 2011 AYP results released this week. For the second year in a row Lakeway made adequate yearly progress as measured by the NECAP assessments which were given to all public schools in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Rhode Island. By exiting the SINI list, Lakeway will gain more autonomy regarding how it spends it annual Title 1 funding, and no longer have to conform to other restrictions that accompany the SINI designation.

Lakeway Fruit and Vegetable Program

Starting September 27, students will have access to a variety of fruits and vegetables every day. This program was very successful last year in giving healthy snacks to the entire student population, giving them fresh fruits and vegetables while learning about their nutritional benefits. Have you had All Five today?

SAVE YOUR CAMPBELL'S LABELS!

Campbell's Labels for Education. Labels should be given to classroom teachers, and the class with the most labels each month will be rewarded with a gift certificate to purchase education materials through the Labels website. Thank you!
